- We don’t make any direct or indirect political contribution on behalf of McCain without the authorization of the President and CEO of McCain. This includes using McCain resources or facilities for political activities.
- We inform the local External Affairs team if we run for political office to avoid any potential conflicts of interest.
Good Ethics.
McCain communicates its views to governments on issues that impact business operations. Many countries have lobbyist requirements that McCain employees must follow. These interactions must be managed by McCain’s local or global External Affairs team or a member of the Legal & Compliance team.
Good Business.
A: Yes. Your personal activity is your business, but you may not use McCain resources without permission. You also can’t use the McCain name to advance the campaign.
